Day Two

Monday, July 28, 2008. We start the vacation off right by getting up late. Thank you, Samuel! He made it through the night sleeping in a new bed in a new room. He woke up several times and cried about it, but we knew if we could get him through the first couple of nights, he'd be fine the rest of the week.

We hit the beach first and spent a few hours there before our stomachs reminded us to eat. We all took naps this afternoon and in the evening visited Kids Corner playground and the famous Shermans ice cream parlor. Samuel didn't really care about the playground but he definitely liked Shermans!
